Dr. Kenneth Chu

Dr. Kenneth Chu grew up in sunny California’s Bay area and attended the prestigious University of California in Berkeley where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrative Biology. Dr. Chu completed his optometric training at the SUNY College of Optometry in New York City, one of the leading colleges of optometry and vision research centers in the world. Dr. Chu completed externships at SUNY College’s on-site contact lens clinic and at the Indian Health Service Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Dr. Kenneth Chu joined Laser Eye Center in 2003. His hands-on experience allows him to provide full scope optometric care to patients undergoing refractive procedures including LASIK, PRK, Lens Implants, Cataract Treatment, and Pterygium removal. Dr. Chu works alongside Laser Eye Center’s highly-skilled Chief Refractive Surgeon, Dr. Abraham Shammas, and a team of experienced optometrists and staff to provide excellent patient care.

When not engaged in patient care, Dr. Chu enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends. He also enjoys playing guitar, hockey, and tennis.
