Dr. Sheila Tehrani
Dr. Sheila Tehrani is a 2010 graduate of the University of Houston College of Optometry. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her optometric experience includes externships at Good Neighbor Clinic in Houston, Texas and Cherokee Indian Hospital in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
Currently she practices full-scope optometry at the Laser Eye Center. Here she works with a team of experienced doctors and is able to provide excellent optometric care to patients undergoing refractive treatments such as LASIK, PRK, lens implants and pterygium removal.
In addition to primary eye care for adults and children, she is glaucoma certified and licensed to treat ocular diseases. With her training & knowledge of the cornea, she takes distinct pride in teaching her patients critical information pertaining to refractive surgery. Dr. Tehrani is a current member of the American Optometric Association and California Optometric Association.
In addition to English, she speaks fluent Farsi. In her spare time she loves spending time with family and friends, traveling, being outdoors, and cooking. She currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband.
