Condition

Just like eyeglasses, the primary purpose of contact lenses is to correct common vision problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. For some, contacts are a preferable alternative to glasses, allowing more freedom than glasses can provide.

Treatment

The process of fitting ‘hard’, or rigid gas-permeable, contact lenses is a two-part process. First, we will arrange for a comprehensive consultation to qualify you for fitted contacts as the best way for you to proceed based on your particular needs. Next, we will schedule you the contact lens actual fitting when our doctor will measure your eye’s surface, thoroughly examining your ocular surface quality, tear film, corneal curvature, eye structure, and other refractive data necessary to fit the lenses correctly. Based on the results, our doctor will prescribe the appropriate lens prescriptions and schedule any necessary follow-up visits.
